At the request of the Horrabridge coach, this Saturday’s friendly match will now kickoff at 11.30am.
We’d like to invite parents and villagers to the match to cheer on our U11s team, creating a good home atmosphere for the boys. As normal, tea and biscuits will be served on the touchline!
If anyone would like to volunteer to take photos during the game, or video the entire match, please get in touch.
Confirmed squad for the 9v9 match: Ashley, Finlay, James F, Paul, Louis, Ernie, Tobin, Oscar L, OJ, Ollie, Cory.
We’re delighted to announce that Rev. Richard Bache will be refereeing the match.
The match comes at an exciting time in the history of Lydford Foxes. The ‘famous’ orange and black strips have arrived and we’ll be entering our first tournament at the end of the month. We’re also planning more friendlies and tournaments throughout the summer as we plan for our first competitive season.
Remember, all players – including those not playing in the match against Horrabridge – are invited to meet at Lydford Sports Field at 10am. The session will be split into two, with the U11s being prepared for the game and all other players training as normal.
Training for non-matchday players will stop at 11.30am, but we’d invite everyone to stick around to cheer on the lads.
From Tuesday evening, we’ll start preparing the teams for the Son-Rise Cup.
Come on you Foxes!
